I-Med Vision improves health and development opportunities of children and young adults in
countries of the Global South through health education, medical assistance and skills development. I'm going to run the Generali Berlin Half Marathon in March 2026 to raise money for this charity.
Why I Chose I-Med Vision?
Two years ago, I spent several months in South Africa for an internship and completely fell in love with the warmth and vibrancy of African culture. At the same time, I became deeply aware of the shortage of resources and support that many children and young adults face when it comes to building a safe and fair future. I believe that the place where you are born should never determine the opportunities you have in life.
By supporting I-med Vision, I hope to contribute to giving children access to the care and opportunities they deserve—so every child, no matter where they start, has a real chance at a bright future.
What happens with the donations?
The donations are used to realise divers i-MED programs that consist modular training programs, workshops, webinars, self-support groups, and medical services. They are designed to be modular and can be flexibly adapted to the needs of the users. The aim of the programs is to improve both individual and community health in the disadvantaged regions of the countries of the Global South. For example, The "Health and Food Revolution for Children" their holistic children's health program that combines education on health-related topics, health care, access to medical care and access to healthy nutrition.
Next year, I-Med Vision is expanding their health programs to even more regions in Southern Africa. You can find more details about our concepts and initiatives here on their website ( Home | i-MED vision ).
