Help mijn vader (58) zijn leven en behandeling veilig te houden

Mijn vader is 58 en kreeg onlangs de diagnose kanker. Omdat hij als zelfstandige moest stoppen met werken voor behandelingen en herstel, valt nu zijn inkomen weg. De ziekenhuisrekeningen lopen op en daarnaast zijn er noodzakelijke kosten voor woonlasten, voeding en medicijnen die we niet zomaar kunnen opvangen.

We staan met onze rug tegen de muur: zonder extra financiële steun dreigt hij niet alleen medische zorg te missen, maar ook zijn huis en spullen te verliezen. Dat willen we koste wat kost voorkomen. Mijn vader heeft altijd voor anderen klaar gestaan; nu is het onze beurt om hem te ondersteunen zodat hij zich op zijn herstel kan richten in plaats van op rekeningen.

My father is 58 and was recently diagnosed with cancer. Because he had to stop working as a self-employed person for treatment and recovery, his income is now gone. His hospital bills are mounting, and on top of that, there are essential costs for housing, food, and medication that we can't simply cover.
