Lieve iedereen,

Zoals sommigen van jullie al weten is mijn ergste nachtmerrie uitgekomen. Kyra is gediagnosticeerd met kanker. En niet zomaar kanker, het is ook nog eens een zeldzame vorm namelijk: epitheliotroop t-cel lymfoom. 

Mijn naam is Marita en Kyra is mijn allerbeste vriendin in het hele universum. Mensen die mij goed kennen weten dat zonder Kyra geen Marita is, wij zijn zielsverwanten. Wij houden het allermeeste van elkaar en zijn onafscheidelijk.

Ook al mijn vrienden zijn dikke vriendinnen met Kyra omdat zij gewoon echt zo'n lieverd is met haar eigen persoonlijkheid, ze geeft je oprecht een knuffel met haar blije koppie en haar pootjes in je schouders als je voor haar gaat zitten. Naast mensen houdt ze ook van avontuur! Gaten graven, auto rijden, nieuwe plaatsen ontdekken, zwemmen, rennen, gek doen. Ze geeft ons allemaal oneindig veel liefde en vreugd. Het valt daarom ook heel zwaar dat ze zo iets krijgt en wil ik zo snel mogelijk aan de behandeling beginnen voor Kyra!

Maar ik kan dit niet doen zonder jullie hulp... de behandeling is namelijk niet goedkoop en ik ga dit helaas niet in mijn eentje redden. Ik wil daarom met harte vragen of jullie voor deze actie willen doneren. Daar zouden jullie Kyra en mij zo enorm mee helpen! Mijn dank is nu al groots!

Deze behandeling zal plaats vinden bij een oncoloog onder Utrecht. Het middel wat ze hiervoor gaan gebruiken is zeer effectief, maar ook kostbaar. Zo kost 1 injectie al €410. Ze moet over een periode van 9 maanden 12 injecties krijgen. Eerst 4x elke 2 weken, daarna 4x elke 3 weken en tot slot 4x elke 4 weken.  Het is dus van belang dat ik zo snel mogelijk veel geld bij elkaar moet zamelen doordat het meeste in het begin van de behandeling al betaald moet worden. 

Hiernaast moet zij nog een ander middel krijgen die de behandeling versterkt. Dit zijn pillen waar ze elke dag 5 van moet hebben. Dit kost nog €82,50 per maand extra. Ook zal de intake al €135 kosten en is elk consult daarna ook nog eens €65. En uiteraard reiskosten omdat ik zelf in het Noorden woon en het al 3.5 uur met het OV is. (deze kosten reken ik hier niet mee) Het streefbedrag wat ik heb ingevuld is dus het minimale wat benodigd is om Kyra haar behandeling succesvol te maken!

Willen jullie Kyra alsje-alsje-alsjeblieft helpen door een donatie te doen? Alle beetjes helpen! Ook zou ik het enorm waarderen als jullie dit bericht voor mij zouden willen delen!

En mocht je over een auto, rijbewijs en vrije tijd beschikken zou dat ook top zijn omdat ik ook chauffeurs zoek om deze afspraken te bezoeken. (Ik kan echt alle hulp gebruiken) Benzine voor mijn kosten uiteraard. Of als je een auto uit kunt lenen zou dat ook super zijn aangezien ik ook vrienden heb met rijbewijzen maar zonder auto.

Dear everyone,

As some of you might know already: my worst nightmare has come true. Kyra has been diagnosed with cancer, a rare cancer even. Called: epitheliotropic t-cell lymphoma.

My name is Marita and Kyra is my best friend in the whole universe. People that know me well know that there’s no Marita without Kyra, we are soulmates. We love eachother the uttermost and are inseperable.

Even all my friends are besties with Kyra because she’s really just that much of a sweetheart with her own personality. She will literally hug you with her happy face and her paws on your shoulders if you’d sit in front of her. Aside from her love for humans she also loves adventure! Digging holes, touring in cars, discovering new places, swimming, running and being playful. She gives us all an infinite amount of love and happiness. So as you might be able to imagine, this news hits pretty hard, and I would like to start Kyra’s treatment as soon as possible!

But I cannot do this without your help… this treatment is not cheap and unfortunately I can’t afford this on my own. I would like to ask you from the bottom of my heart  to donate to this cause. You would help Kyra so incredibly much! It would be so much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

This treatment will take place at an oncologist near Utrecht. The medicine that they are going to use is very effective, but also expensive. 1 injection costs €410  already. This has to be used in a period of 9 months where she will be given 12 injections. 4x every 2 weeks, then 4x every 3 weeks and lastly 4x every 4 weeks. So it is very important that I collect as much money as possible in little time as most of the treatment will be done in the very beginning.

Apart from this she will also need another medicine to increase the effectiveness of the other medicine. She needs 5 pills per day of those and that costs another €82,50 per month extra. The intake will cost €135 and every appointment after will charge another €65. And ofcourse travel costs as I live up north and travelling with public transport is 3.5 hours (one-way)(I do not include this in the target amount) So the target amount I filled in is the least amount I need to make Kyra her treatment succesful!

Could you please help Kyra by donating? Every bit counts! I would also really appreciate it if you could share this!

And if you have a car, drivers license and spare time that would be great too because I’m still looking for drivers to visit these appointments. (I really need every bit of help) I will pay fort he gas ofcourse. Or if you’ve got a car I could borrow that would be really helpful as well as I do have friends with a drivers license but not a car.
