We Are Streamline! 
Streamline provides a space and platform to elevate local artists and nourish the creative community in The Hague and beyond. 

We are a group of four girls all living in the Hague. We didn't know each other that well beforehand but we had great synergy immediately and a natural ease together. Streamline was  a humble idea over a bottle of wine that catalysed into something so much more. 

What happened last Streamline?

In the summer of 2020 we created a event with a market (vintage clothing and arts), record sale (Espresso records, Mink records and Beukwerk records), live music performances (Kantarion Sound, 66y Samurai, Luzacult), live art performances, life drawing (Nice Flaps), spoken words (words of the page), poetry, experimental food show, music jams, Dj sets (DJ Silk, DJ Harvey) and many more artists who have joined us.

Streamline started as a grassroot underground event in a unique old school. There was no budget, no entrance fee, we reached out to artists and some reached out to us but this was really a community driven event. 

Our event is the last one many people will remember going to and we want to ride that wave and stay in people’s consciousness. 

What we’d do with the funding?This is what we achieved with no budget. With a bit of money, guidance and network it would allow us to legitimise and expand Streamline onto a whole new level.

We want to continue to elevate, nurture collaboration, enrich the local artistic community and help them expand beyond.

In the future we would like to continue to put on large interdisciplinary (art) events but at the moment we want to put on smaller more manageable events. We are aiming for unique locations and different locations every time.

For example, we would like to initiate workshops allowing artists to share and teach their practices or craft so they can enjoy and learn from each other. Also small art markets and intimate performances are part of our plans. 

We’re proud of the rich art culture in The Hague and what we strive to achieve at Streamline is to stimulate that culture by initialing new exciting collaborations. 

We are currently planning our next event in January 2022. We have a location and only need financial support to realize our dream event to support the (local) artists & provide a platform for them.
