In 2022 is door de gemeente Den Haag besloten dat De Samenscholing haar huidige locatie moet verlaten. Het pand waar De Samenscholing is gehuisvest word herontwikkeld tot een  zielloos bedrijventerrein voor de maakindustrie, ondanks dat niemand hierop zit te wachten.
De Samenscholing heeft, sinds ze dit nieuws heeft ontvangen, keihard gevochten voor haar voortbestaan. Er zijn demonstraties, manifestaties, info-avonden en andere dingen georganiseerd. Bovendien hebben we constant contact gezocht met de gemeente over een vervangende locatie.
De gemeente heeft de Samenscholing erg lang aan het lijntje gehouden, en heeft een kort geding aangespannen om ontruiming af te dwingen. Helaas ging de rechter ging hierin mee. Na heel veel lobby en strijd krijgen we waarschijnlijk alsnog een nieuwe locatie, maar de rekeningen en kosten die we gemaakt hebben blijven komen. Omdat ons voortbestaan onzeker blijft, en we op dit moment geen inkomsten kunnen generen vragen we aan iedereen die De Samenscholing een warm hart toedraagt om een donatie te doen, zodat wij kunnen blijven vechten voor ons voortbestaan, en voor een Den Haag met vrije, solidaire en alternatieve ruimte.

In 2022, the municipality of The Hague decided that De Samenscholing must leave its current location. The building where De Samenscholing is housed is being redeveloped into a soulless business park for the manufacturing industry, despite the fact that no one in the neighborhood asked for this. Since receiving this news, De Samenscholing has fought hard for its survival. Demonstrations, manifestations, information evenings and other events have been organized. In addition, we have been in constant contact with the municipality about a replacement location. The municipality has kept De Samenscholing on the hook for a very long time, and has initiated summary proceedings to force eviction. Unfortunately, the judge ruled in the city’s favor. After months of lobbying and fighting we will probably get a new location, but the bills and costs we have incurred keep on coming. Because our survival remains uncertain, and we cannot generate any income at the moment, we ask everyone who cares about De Samenscholing to make a donation, so that we can continue to fight for our survival as one of the last free, alternative, and solidary spaces in The Hague.
