I recently returned from Athens where I contribute to the operation of the food market organized by foodKIND.

Greece serves as the initial entry point for many individuals who are forced to seek refuge in Europe. The large number of people making this journey has created a lot of pressure on the Greek system, resulting in gaps and shortcomings. FoodKIND aims to address some of these gaps by providing food in situations where basic human needs are not being met.

During my time here, Ive seen the effort they put into making the most out of every euro they receive. Although I received numerous donations (thank you), I believe it is crucial to save money for this much-needed initiative. While we were able to assist a few families, there are countless more individuals who are in desperate need of food.
