Graag wil ik jullie vragen om een donatie te doen voor onze poes Piipi. Zij wordt in juli 5 jaar en is dus nog erg jong. Helaas is ze sinds maart 2023 ernstig ziek geworden. Diagnose: middenoor ontstekingen wat wordt veroorzaakt door (terugkerende) poliepen. Door de ontstekingen wordt haar evenwicht aangetast, waardoor ze zich niet meer voort kan bewegen (valt constant om). Helaas zijn we erachter dat de poliepen steeds weer terugkomen en dat de enige manier is: het leeghalen van het binnenoor van poliepen en verwijderen van haar gehoorgang. Daarna zal ze weer kwaliteit van leven hebben. Deze operaties en na-controles kunnen we helaas niet opbrengen en we zijn ook niet verzekerd. Als we er niks aan doen dan zal het niet goed aflopen 😭

(Wij hebben haar tot 3 maanden voordat ze ziek werd verzekerd, totdat we geïnspireerd raakten om iedere maand eigen geld apart te zetten, om zo een buffer op te bouwen, want uiteindelijk kregen we maar weinig vergoed bij de verzekeraar. Dit is daarom extra zuur).

Piipi is een onderdeel van ons gezin en we zullen haar enorm missen als we haar niet kunnen behandelen 😢

Hello dear friends, we would like to ask you to make a donation for our cat Piipi. She will become 5 years old in July and is therefore still very young. Unfortunately, she has become seriously ill since March 2023. Diagnosis: middle ear infection caused by (recurrent) polyps/tissue. The infection affects her balance, so that she can no longer move (constantly falls over). Unfortunately, we have found out that the polyps/tissue keeps coming back and the only way is to clear the inner ear of polyps and remove her ear canal. After that, she will have quality of life again. Unfortunately, we cannot afford these operations and follow-up checks and we are not insured either. If we don't do anything about it, it won't end well.

(We insured her with a health insurance for up to 3 months before she got ill, until we were inspired to set aside our own money every month, in order to build up a buffer, because in the end we only received little compensation from the insurer. This is therefore extra hard that she got ill quick after the cancellation).

Piipi is part of our family and we will miss her dearly if we can't treat her :-(
