The DANCE SAVES LIVES project is initiated by Ricardo Koopman is South Africa in order to give a good education to every child that comes to his dance school.
To create awareness for this project, he asked singer and composer Emilie La Haye from the Netherlands to compose a song called "Dance Saved My Life". The song is based on a true life story from Ricardo Koopman himself. But unfortunately, this is a story that applies to a lot of people in South Africa. Also children. But with the help of a good dance education, the children aren't only taken off the streets, they also learn what it means to be disciplined and to become a better person in life.
If you feel inspired by the story and the art that's been made for this project, please contribute to Ricardo's Modern Dance Studio in South Africa so that he can support more children.
Thank you
