Dear friends and supporters,

First we want to say thank you and show our appreciation for all the love and support in the last few years

After the sudden death of Mr. Juzmeski in 2021, thanks to you, we have been able to continue the work of the museum dedicated to the Dutch writer A. den Doolaard in Ohrid. Also we created the first tourist office in the city of Ohrid. 

The current collection of books by A. den Doolaard in Ohrid is the largest in the world and it contains the complete bibliography from his work thorough his life. The museum has been redecorated and has new paint, many new photos and personal belongings from the writer. 

The museum still has a lot of attraction for tourists, especially Dutch tourists. It welcomes many guests from all over the world, from Norway to Japan and from Belgium to the Philippines.It is also a meeting place for many admirers of A. den Doolaard and other literature enthusiasts. 

The museum receives a lot of attention in the media and among authors and program makers in both the Netherlands and Macedonia as well as other countries from all over the world.

We are currently hosts and hosts of the museum. The museum does not receive any support from any government or agency. We would like to preserve the museum and offer a warm welcome to the many tourists and enthusiasts. The entry has always been free and we will keep it that way.To achieve this we need your help. With your contribution we want to pay the rent and fixed costs and continue to organize literary evenings. We want to spend the money we have left on the restoration of the monument on the boulevard and publishing books by A. den Doolaard in the Macedonian and English language. 

Thank you very much for all your support, make sure to come and visit us and welcome to Ohrid. Everybody that comes here as a visitor leaves as a part of our family.
