What can we do?
Our planet is at a breaking point, facing threats that jeopardise all life. The ice caps are melting, the oceans are getting poisened by plastic and chemicals, forests are dying, the air is filling up with carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. Whole ecosystems are collapsing by the rising temperatures and the life on earth is rapidly dying by mass extinction. In conclusion the only home for life we have is dying, Earth is dying and that is in our hands. But just like the destruction is in our hands, so is the solution.
It might seem like you as an individual does not have a significant impact and cant make a change, but you are wrong about that. Every person has a carbon foot print. Your personal footprint includes emissions from a variety of sources: your daily commute, the food you eat, the clothes you buy, everything you throw away and much more. The larger your footprint, the heavier the strain on the environment. Changing those variables shrinks your personal carbon footprint and it can be the smallest things, from walking more often to actually speak up in protests(https://www.wri.org/insights/climate-impact-behavior-shifts). Everything has an impact and it isnt too late YET.
we have 4 years(https://climateclock.net). 4 years with this rate to pass 1.5º border. 4 years to stop destruction. 4 years to save animals, land, humans. 4 years to save life.
Take responsibility and save our future.
