It's been 4 and half years since we lost our beautiful soul, Anja, and I have always wanted to do something in her honour and what better way, than to do something that makes a difference in somebody's life, as that is what Anja always used to do to the people she met! 

I want to raise money for multiple myeloma, the non-curable llness that Anja had, but not just by giving money to cancer research, I want to do something more personal, to help a myeloma patient get access to much needed medical treatment, that they otherwise cannot afford. 

Anja had a bone marrow transplant at a very special clinic in Mexico. They have a very unique method where patients can have the treatment as an outpatient, so without needing to be admitted to hospital for an entire month, and that makes the treatment much more affordable, but despite this, it's still too expensive for some. 

I wasn't sure how I could raise the money, but now the time has come.  Together with Erika, Anja's daughter, I will try to climb mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in July 2024.  At almost 6000 meters, it's going to be quite the challenge and so definitely an activity worthy of this cause.
