We zijn goede vrienden van Lana. Lana is een vrouw die recentelijk haar leven op haar kop heeft gezet door een ernstige auto ongeluk. Bij dit ongeluk werd zij zwaar getroffen door een tram, wat resulteerde in een zware hersenschudding en ernstige lichamelijke schade. Haar gehele ruggengraat, van de wervelkolom tot aan haar nek en schouderblad, is ernstig aangetast, en haar lichaam is deels verlamd. Dit heeft haar niet alleen fysiek ernstig beperkt, maar ook vermogen om te werken en haar toekomst in gevaar gebracht.

Lana heeft diabetes typ 2 na het auto ongeluk ervaart zo regelmatig te laage bloedsuiker wat lijt tot hallucinatie, verwarring, wegrakingen wat er toe leide tot 2 weken onder toezicht verblijf in het ziekenhuis.

Lana werkte zelf inde zorg, waar ze mensen hielp met hun trauma revalidatie herstel, vaak na een ongeval,beroerte,kanker,operatie,blesure. Ze was een steun voor haar cliënten in het ziekenhuis, maar door haar eigen ongeluk kan ze hen niet meer te woord staan of helpen. Haar lichamelijke klachten zijn zo ernstig dat ze haar werk als zorgverlener niet meer kan uitvoeren. Ze heeft inmiddels al vijf maanden niet meer kunnen werken, wat haar financiële situatie verder bemoeilijkt.

Na de ernstige verwondingen die Lana heeft opgelopen, heeft zij verschillende medische onderzoeken ondergaan. Helaas bleek uit onderzoek dat er bijkomende complicaties zijn die verder behandeld moeten worden. De situatie is zo ernstig dat de benodigde medische behandeling niet in Nederland kan plaatsvinden, maar alleen in Duitsland, waar een gespecialiseerde operatie nodig is.

Deze operatie is in Duitsland biedt een kans op herstel, maar wordt helaas niet vergoed door de zorgverzekeraar. Het bedrag voor de operatie is en de noodzakelijke nazorg bedraag minstens €150.000,- en daarom willen wij een doneeractie starten om dit bedrag bij elkaar te krijgen.

Daarnaast is Lana momenteel ook bezig met juridische stappen om de situatie te verbeteren, maar de kosten van een jurist zijn enorm en voor een 26-jarige vrouw is het financieel moeilijk om de deze kosten te dragen. Ze kan het zich momenteel niet permitteren om zowel de medische kosten als juridische kosten zelf te bekostigen.

Lana is een geweldige vriendin voor velen van ons, en haar situatie is onzettend moeilijk, We willen haar helpen zodat zij de noodzakelijke behandelingen kan krijgen en haar gezondheid weer kan verbeterene zonder zich zorgen te maken over de financiële druk.

We are good friends of Lana. Lana is a women recently her life upside down after being involved in a serious car iccident. She was truck by a tram, resulting in a severe conussion and serious physical damage.Her intire spine, from her vertebral column te her neck and shoulder blade, has been severely affected , and her body is partially paralyzed. This has not only severely limited her physically but also put her ability to work and her future jeopardy.

Lana has 2 diabetes, wich was already challenge her before the accident. She experiense dangerously low blood sugar levels, wicch causes confusion, hallucinations, and even faiting spells. Due to this, had to stay under observation in the hospital for two weeks.

Lana worked in healthcare, helping patients with their rehabilitation, often after an accident or concussion. She was a support to her patients in the hospital, but due to her own accident, she can no longer assist or communicatie with hem. Her physical complaints are so severe that she is no longer able to perform her  work as a healtcare provider. She has already been unable to work five months, wich has further complicated her financial situation.

After the serious injuries Lana sustained, she underwent several medical examinations. Unfortunately, it was discovered that there are additional complications that need further treatment. The situation is so severe that the necessary medical treatment cannot be provided in the Netherlands but can only take place in Germany, where a specialized surgery is riquired.

This surgery in Germany offers a chance of recovery, but unfortunately, it is not covered bij health insurance. The cost for the surgery and necessary aftercare is least €150,000. and therefore, we want to set up donation campaign to raise this amount.

Additionally, Lana is currently working on Iegal steps to improve her situation, bit the cost for a lawyer are enormous, and as a 26-year old women, she finds it financially difficult to carry these costs. She is currently unable to offord both the medical costs and the Iegal fees on her own.

Lana is a wonderful friend to many of us,and her situation is incredibly difficult. We want to help get the treatment she needs and improve her health without financial burden weighing on her.
