Hallo allemaal,
 
Afgelopen week is een spannende week voor mijn vrouwtje en mij geweest, een borstonderzoek.
Gisteren is het verlossende woord eruit gekomen  en blijkt mijn vrouw  kwaadaardig kanker in haar borst te hebben. Een bericht wat er behoorlijk inhakt, al hielden we al rekening met het ergste, dan kan de uitslag alleen maar positiever uitvallen, helaas was dit hier dus niet het geval.
Een ieder die betrokken of zelf met deze verschikkelijk ziekte te maken heeft gehad weet wat er mijn vrouw te wachten staat.
Chemotherapie, immuutherapie,  operatie en bestraling zijn factoren die hiermee gepaard gaan. Verder allemaal goed te behandelen al zal zij het op sommige momenten best zwaar krijgen.

Mijn vrouw is van Thaise komaf, en na een langdurig gesprek met haar en haar familie in Thailand, heeft zij , in overleg met mij ervoor gekozen, om haar behandeling en verzorging in Thailand te laten doen.
De technieken en behandelingen daar zijn gelijk aan degene hier in Nederland, alleen daar kan en zal ze 24/7 verzorging en aandacht van haar familie krijgen die ik hier haar waarschijnlijk niet altijd zou kunnen geven, ik zal gewoon moeten blijven werken.
Daar kan ze haar taal spreken en in gezelschap van haar moeder en familie zijn. Waarvan ik denk dat haar genezing daar alleen maar bevordert door word, dan alleen thuis voor zich uit te zitten staren hier in Nederland.

De medische kosten worden in Thailand niet allemaal gedekt, en zal wel de nodige kosten met zich meebrengen. 
Wij zijn niet zielig en wij hebben het niet slecht hier in Nederland, maar een duwtje in onze rug ik zeer gewenst.
Van een euro tot wat je kan missen zou zeer gewaardeerd worden om haar en mij uiteraard ook, om haar  in Thailand een beetje financieel te helpen.

Last week has been an exciting week for my wife and me, a breast examination.
Yesterday the redeeming word came out  and it turns out my wife  has malignant cancer in her breast. A message that has a lot of impact, although we already took into account the worst, then the result can only be more positive, unfortunately this was not the case here.
Anyone who has been involved or has had to deal with this terrible disease knows what awaits my wife.
Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery and radiation are associated factors. Everything else can be treated well, although she will have a hard time at times.

My wife is of Thai descent, and after a long conversation with her and her family in Thailand, she has chosen, in consultation with me, to have her treatment and care in Thailand.
The techniques and treatments there are the same as the ones here in the Netherlands, only there she can and will receive 24/7 care and attention from her family that I probably wouldn't always be able to give her here, I'll just have to keep working.
There she can speak her language and be in the company of her mother and family. Which I think only promotes her healing there, than just sitting at home staring here in the Netherlands.

The medical costs are not all covered in Thailand, and will entail the necessary costs.
We are not pathetic and we do not have it bad here in the Netherlands, but I very much wish you a little push in the back.
From a euro to what you can spare would be much appreciated for her and me of course, to help her a little financially in Thailand.
