Dear people & fellow citizens,

My good friend Charley had a leg amputation last April. Of course a great loss and especially if you have played sports all your life. His greatest wish and need is to be able to pick up his "old" life again, to save himself and to work on a strong & healthy body. To be able to do this Charley needs a wheelchair, the mountain-trike and beside that also a connect carrier. Unfortunately the municipality of Amsterdam recently rejected his application for this connect carrier. However, this cargo bike is important for its independence and self-reliance. Then Charley can get back on the road with his 3-year old daughter, do the big errands himself and many other things that will expand his world. With the desired mountain-trike Charley can also look for his sporting limits again. He can then become the active man & loving father he always was without being dependent on others all the time. Something that comes naturally to the most of all of us and that Charley sadly lost with the loss of his leg. I hope with all of my heart that together we can make help Charley on his way.
