Bij Selvin (14 jaar) is Leukemie geconstateerd. Naast de mentale impact van dit vreselijke nieuws, brengt het ook grote financiële moeilijkheden met zich mee. Selvin woont in Guatemala, waar de economische situatie maakt dat Selvins ouders worstelen om de behandeling die hij hard nodig heeft te betalen. Op dit moment ligt Selvin in een ziekenhuis in Guatemala Stad. Bovenop de ziekenhuiskosten, komt ook dat Selvins ouders inkomen verliezen, doordat zij door deze omstandigheden minder kunnen werken.
Selvin en zijn gezin zijn ontzettend lieve en empathische mensen die altijd voor anderen klaarstaan. Nu ze het hard nodig hebben, willen wij ook graag voor hen klaarstaan, door ze financieel te steunen in Selvins strijd tegen Leukemie. In een situatie die op zich al ontzettend verdrietig is, zouden wij de geldzorgen van het gezin graag weg willen nemen en willen we ervoor zorgen dat de behandeling die Selvin hard nodig heeft gefinancierd kan worden. Zo hopen we dat Selvin nog een mooie en gezonde toekomst voor zich heeft.

Selvin lives in Guatemala, where the economic situation makes Selvin's parents struggle to pay for the treatment he desperately needs. Currently, Selvin is in a hospital in Guatemala City. On top of the hospital costs, there is also the fact that Selvin's parents are losing income as they are unable to work as much due to these circumstances.
