Our request for help through this crowd-funding is not dramatic or heart-breaking in nature. Sometimes people end up in a combination of circumstances in which you feel powerless, desperate and unable to climb up on your own. Thát is the reason to ask for your support for Annemieke and Jay
Annemieke and Jay have this wonderful place, Chy-Kara, in Hungary. Everything they do and create, they make and build themselves, with their own two hands and lots of love.
Many people found their way to Chy-Kara in recent years. The calm, peaceful Zen-like Spirit of Chy-Kara and the healing, inspiring energy are compared by many to the atmosphere of sacred places in India and Tibet.
Since the beginning of 2019 they have suffered severe setbacks ...
A devastating storm in April destroyed one of the guest rooms and the roof of the community building was so badly damaged that a new roof needs to be installed before the winter sets in.
In addition, their car, a necessary means of transport on the Puszta, needed a number of expensive repairs. All together it means more financial pressure and a permanent concern about necessary work that cannot get done.
Jay is 69, suffering from back and knee troubles, Annemieke is 57 and they live on Jay's old-age pension. They are positive people and they do not easily ask for any help. They can really use a boost with this crowd-fund.
The financial support is used for the renovation of the roof of the community building and for the necessary maintenance to create more sustainability of the buildings which are all built of clay bricks and natural material.
We greatly appreciate a helping hand for this couple so that they can pass over the necessary work to professionals, and that they can view the future with more confidence.
We are starting this crowd-funding to ask for encouragement and support.
Thank you for your contribution!
