During my travels in Uganda I have also spend a few weeks helping the Garden Library in Entebbe with Teddy, Muhammed and James. James founed the garden Library because at his first stay he found out how little access kids had to books. At Garden Library the trio have founded several activities: Finding donated books kids could read for free, extra reading or mathmatic lesson if kids needed help, and computer lessons (and of course there is always time for fun games!). Also they would organise safaris, the money they made of that would go to the Garden Library to pay the rent, and they try to find Godparents for kids. A Godparent would pay for the kids school fee and they would get a monthly update.
Unfortunately the contract of their location has expired, and the Garden Libary needs to move to a new place where the rent is much more expensive. Can you help Teddy, Muhammad, James and the library kids? Even the smallest donation would help.
