Dear lovely people
I am a 28 year old man I’m in the process of registering a foundation dedicated to bringing joy and confidence to children through free haircuts — because every child deserves to feel seen and cared for, regardless of their background. I must also tell that this will be taking place on Curaçao where i was born.
Our initiative is simple: visit local schools twice a month to offer free haircuts to kids. Not only does this help ease the burden for parents, it also creates a moment of happiness and pride for the children. Our goal is to serve all children — because we believe every child is equal and deserves the same opportunities and care.
To make this dream a reality, I’m currently seeking sponsorships and support to:
Officially register the foundation
Cover the basic costs of professional barbers/stylists who will help deliver the service
Invest in mobile equipment and, hopefully soon, a rented space where children can come after school
This isn’t just about haircuts — it’s about dignity, community, and showing kids that someone cares.
Would you be willing to support this mission? Whether it’s a financial contribution, equipment, or helping spread the word, every bit helps us get closer to building something meaningful for our community.
The name of the foundation wil be Lus Riba Nos Futuro
What does “Lus Riba Nos Futuro” mean?
“Lus Riba Nos Futuro” is in Papiamentu, and it means “Light Over Our Future.”
It represents hope, care, and the idea that when we support our children — no matter where they come from — we’re investing in a brighter, more equal future for all of us. Every child is a light, and by giving them confidence, dignity, and love (even through something as simple as a fresh haircut), we help that light shine even brighter.
This foundation stands for equality, community, and opportunity, and the name is a reminder of why we do this — to bring light and positivity into the lives of our future generation.
Thank you so much for considering this — I’d love to speak more if you’re interested.
Warm regards,
