WATER c’est LA VIE! And has to be reachable for everyone!!
Ehene Gado, from a little village in Niger (West Africa), lives with us for a month. He has been send by his people, who live in a hunger an water crisis. There are no aid organisations helping there. The draughts of former years killed all the cattle and now a few months ago heavy rainfall created a flood what damages all the houses. This whole story breaks my heart. These innocent people deserve better!
Niger is one of the poorest countries in the world. Ehene is so brave to come here looking for help. I get to know him as a man of integrity, very gentil and totally committed to help his people. We can really trust him. He is head of three villages. He has 4 kids of his own and 21 orphans is taking care for.
The people now have to walk by feet every day 9 KM (one way) to get water. Also for the cattle.
A waterwell will make it possible that they can grow their own vegetables, water to drink and for the cattle. Life will be so much better. People will not starve out of dehydration. L'eau est la vie, he says.
Ehene’s dream is to fix the houses, than build a waterwell and than open a school for the children. No ones goes to school now. Finally is he wants a doctor for the villages nearby.
We want to send him home with money for a waterwell. He has already found one and also the people who can build it. It will be one with a solar system, so that the water can be filtered and ready to drink.
What you will pay, we will double it. If you want to buy a beautiful handmade jewellery from the Sahara, let me know. Together we can make a difference!! Thank you SOOO much for your generous heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️
